Double girder overhead crane configuration is made up of two bridge girders, two end carriages and a hoist with trolley. The hoist travels on top of rails that are mounted to the top of bridge girders. It is widely used for transferring material, goods equipment installation and maintenance in factory, power station, storeroom, warehouse etc.

A load-bearing beam that runs the width of the building. This is the primary structural component that connects the runways and moves the hoist forward and backward using a trolley. Girders can be made of rolled steel or fabricated by welding beams into a steel box design.
The trolley is a mobile platform housing the hoisting mechanism responsible for lifting and lowering loads. Includes high-tensile steel ropes, pulleys, and a motor-driven hoist drum. Powered by motors for precise horizontal positioning.
Located at each end of the crane, the end trucks enable the gantry crane to travel along rails. Depending on capacity, each truck is equipped with 2, 4, or 8 wheels for optimal stability.
